Target Scope of the Act

• A civil servant under the State Public Officials Act, the Local Public Officials Act or other relevant Acts.
• Employees other than regular civil servants working for state agencies or local governments as prescribed in Article 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Public Officials Pension Act
  • Registered security guards and employees in charge of forest conservation
  • Standing members and full-time employees of committees, excluding temporary advisory committees and committees not based on any statute
  • Other employees recognized by the Minister of Personnel Management

Exceptions

Military personnel and civil servants elected to office are excluded.
