Purpose
- Promoting the patriotism of the people by appropriately honoring and supporting national merit recipients and their bereaved families or families
- Securing administrative expertise and efficiency by giving preference to holders of various qualifications such as national technical certificates
Legal Grounds
- The bereaved family of a person deceased for a just cause, the deceased person himself/herself or his/her family according to Article 36-2 of the State Public Officials Act (Article 31-2 of the Civil Service Appointment Examination Ordinance)

Details
- Persons eligible for employment support
Applicants eligible for employment support according to the applicable law are limited to those who have scored 40% or more in each subject, and a certain percentage (10% or 5%) of the perfect score for each subject is added to the score for each subject. - Persons who died or were injured in the pursuit of the national interest according to the applicable law are limited to those who have scored 40% or more in each subject, and a certain percentage (5% or 3%) of the perfect score for each subject is added to the score for each subject.
※ In case of overlapping additional points, such as those eligible for employment support and those who died or were injured in pursuit of the national interet, only one is recognized.
A person who holds a certificate under the National Technical Qualifications Act and other laws
- Additional 3% to 5% of the perfect score for each subject of the written test is added to holders of qualifications in job-related fields in the recruitment exam for Grade 6 or lower (including researchers and instructors) (except when a certain certificate is required for the civil service recruitment examination and the relevant certificate holder is hired through career competition, etc.)

※ If there are two or more certificates subject to additional point benefit, only one that is advantageous to the person is applied, and only those who scored 40% or more in each subject can receive the additional points.
